About the Fund
The Nautilus Welfare Fund is a UK-registered charity administered by Nautilus International, offering a range of specialist services to support retired seafarers and their dependants.
The Fund provides:
- retirement accommodation for people living independently, requiring residential or nursing care.
- care at home to help independent people remain in their homes for longer
- one-off grants
- caseworkers to offer advice and guidance on issues including financial management, healthy living and access to support services.
The Nautilus Welfare Fund is a UK-registered charity administered by Nautilus International Mariners' Park in Wallasey.
At the heart of the Nautilus Welfare Fund is the Mariners' Park estate in Wallasey, on the banks of the River Mersey. Here, retired seafarers can enjoy their leisure time amongst like-minded neighbours.
Like all charities, the Nautilus Welfare Fund relies on donations. The fund is grateful to its many supporters and welcomes new donations.
The Nautilus Welfare Fund is registered with the Charity Commission, number 218742.

Independent living
The Nautilus Welfare Fund provides an opportunity for retired seafarers and their dependants to live independently, surrounded by like-minded neighbours and with access to a full range of support services to ensure they enjoy a long, safe and happy retirement.
Care home
The Mariners' Park Care Home provides residential care and nursing care, as well as short breaks and respite care to retired seafarers and their dependants.
Home care
The Nautilus Welfare Fund provides specialist care at home for retired seafarers and their dependants living on the Mariners' Park Estate and surrounding Merseyside area.
